Deagglomeration, delumping and separation involve the reduction of difficult, sticky, heat-sensitive agglomerates into pieces, crumbs or powders of uniform size. Quadro® deagglomeration equipment replaces labor-intensive, expensive manual separation processes. We excel in deagglomerating a wide range of products — from pharmaceutical materials to food products to detergents — without damaging the original product.
The Quadro® FlexSift offers a compact, high-capacity solution for delumping and deagglomerating. The rotating action of the FlexSift combined with the custom-designed spoiler arm gently deagglomerates without reducing the size of the particles. The Quadro® Comil® is better suited for harder agglomerates that require increased levels of delumping forces or to gently deagglomerate sticky dried fruits.
DEAGGLOMERATION IN FOOD PROCESSING
Quadro deagglomeration equipment has been used in multiple food manufacturing processes, including breakfast cereal production and bakery applications. Our machines have been used in delumping raisins, for example, as cost-saving alternative to labor-intensive manual deagglomeration.
