Through the application of detailed technical knowledge (product and applications), the incumbent will provide general product line support, conduct "proof of concept" equipment tests, and formulate equipment recommendations in support of Quadro's worldwide base of customers/sales representatives.


Qualifications Required:


  • Engineering Technician/Technologist Diploma or Degree with a focus on Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the principles of Fluid Mechanics.
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years of Engineering and/or Technical Sales experience within the process equipment industry or a related field is a requirement.

    Reporting to the Controller, you will be respsonsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing all accounting processes and procedures for the business, to ensure the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements.


    Responsibilities Will Include:


  • Ensure all financial statements and reports are completed in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Fixed Asset Accounting.
  • Prepare assigned monthly, quarterly, and yearly schedules.
  • Ensure all monthly account reconciliations are performed accurately, completely, and on time.
  • Monthly external commission accrual and payments.
  • Responsible for the implementation of robust internal controls, monitoring compliance, and for the maintenance of adequate documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all U.S. state sales and use taxes.
  • Manage the audit process and serve as the local Audit Leader. Supports and co-ordinates all internal, external and SOX audit activity.
  • Meet strict month-end reporting deadlines.
  • Implement process and procedural improvements to optimize the workflow within the department.


    The successful candidate will possess the following education and competencies:


  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business/Accounting.
  • Currently working towards (or recent recipient of) an accounting designation.
  • Minimum of 5 years related accounting experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience driving improvements in internal controls.
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Motivated team player with the ability to work effectively with staff within the Organization, as well as with customers and representatives from around the world.
