Problem 1
A vitamin tableting company was looking for a solution to minimize dust in their tablet press suites.
Quadro Vac
Solution
Quadro provided a mini 3L size Quadro Vac that fitted
perfectly on the tablet press. A single Quadro Vac was
used to feed the two feed hoppers of the press. The
Quadro Vac was equipped with a simple mechanical level
sensor that stopped the operation of the Quadro Vac
when the tablet press feed hopper was full. Operation
of the Quadro Vac resumed, as the granules in the press
feed hopper was used up by the press.
Summary
Dust free conveying of the granules from drums to the
press. This reduced the time required for cleaning the
room after each product and eliminated product contamination
due to dusting. A total of 10 units were supplied for
all 10 tablet presses.

Problem 2
A pharmaceutical customer approached Quadro for a solution
to their tablet conveying problem. They wanted to convey the
tablets with no damage.
Quadro Vac Solution
Quadro worked with the company to achieve a solution using the Quadro Vac. The Quadro Vac was supplied with a silicone bladder, one piece step-free inlet and a dampener to allow for gentle closing of the dump gate. It was also recommended that the customer collected the tablets in a container with a soft lining.
Summary
Tablets were conveyed with very insignificant damage, acceptable to this customer.
