Comil Overview

Quadro Comil Overdriven
The Quadro Comil Overdriven mill is available in five models with capacities ranging from 0 - 120,000 lb/hr (0 – 54,500 kg/hr). All Comil models are scalable (by adjusting the impeller speed to maintain tip velocity, the same particle size distribution can be achieved on all models using similar screen sizes). The Comil is manufactured from stainless steel, making it ideal for use in the food, pharmaceutical, personal care/cosmetic and fine chemical industries. Each model is available with different design features and countless options/ customizations to allow the user to select the mill best suited to their specific application requirements.

Quadro Comil Underdriven
Based on the same technology as the Overdriven Comil, the Underdriven models provide some unique advantages. The inline (straight) design enables larger product throughput and unhindered product flow. Complete with a low housing height for compact installation, the Underdriven models apply spacerless technology to obtain optimum impeller/screen gap for the best process performance. Underdriven units are available in five models (U3, U5, U10, U20, U30) with capacities ranging from 0 - 35,000 lb./hr (0 – 15,900 kg/hr).

Quadro Comil Lab Models
Comil Lab Units are designed for benchtop applications. Capacities and particle size distribution are scalable to larger production units, providing Research & Development labs with an excellent means of developing formulations. Three models are available with capacities ranging from batch sizes of a few grams to many kilos. All three units are equipped with a variable speed drive providing the user flexibility in formula development. The frame, electrical enclosure and all contact parts are constructed of stainless steel, making them ideal to support requirements in the food, pharmaceutical, personal care/cosmetic and fine chemical industries.

Quadro Sifters
Quadro Conical Sifters provide high capacity screening to complement the strict requirements of the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and cosmetic industries. Quadro Sifters pre-screen material before entering downstream equipment, preventing machinery damage and contamination of final processed product which could be caused by over-sized impurities in the infeed material. The Quadro Sifter is compact in design and, unlike traditional sifters, produces very low noise and no vibration. Multiple designs are available to accommodate a range of applications and equipment styles. ...more info

 Fine Grind Overview

Quadro Fine Grind – F10
Quadro's continuous efforts to innovate process technology in the field of size reduction are once again realized with the development of the Model F10 Fine Grind Mill for the pharmaceutical, fine chemical, cosmetic, personal care and food industries. The Model F10 produces highly consistent results, with particle sizes between 5 – 100 microns in a very tight particle size distribution curve tailored to your particular target range needs. Benefits of this revolutionary system include savings through reduced downtime, minimal space requirements, rapid product changeover, enhanced process efficiency and lower noise output than most fine milling technologies. Other advantages include quick disassembly for maintenance/cleaning, rapid tool changes and lower power consumption as compared to traditional mills. The Model F10 promotes uniform grinding capabilities producing higher yields on specification and has a wide tooling selection to meet all grinding requirements.
